M. Beatrice’s Obituary
MOULAISON, M. Beatrice – age 89, Amirault’s Hill, Yarmouth Co., passed away peacefully on September 2, 2020 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born August 31, 1931 in Hubbard’s Point, she was a daughter of the late Julien and Mary Jane (Doucette) Muise. Beatrice worked at the Knitting Mill and Cosmos Imperial Mills, both in Yarmouth, before moving to Lynn, Massachusetts, where she worked at Norelco. After moving back to Yarmouth, she worked at IMO Fisheries until her retirement. Beatrice loved bowling and playing cards and she was a member of the Indian Sluice Senior’s Club as well as the New Horizons in Ste-Anne-du-Ruisseau. She is survived by her son, Mike (Sheila) Moulaison, Amirault’s Hill, as well as by her grandchildren, Katelyn and Brandon. Also surviving are her sisters, Rose-Aimée Holder (Ron), Timberlea and Frances (Ted) Foster, Hubbard’s Point. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, P. Léance Moualison; a brother, Clifford Muise; step-brothers, Tommy Hubbard and Raymond “Peage” Hubbard; a brother-in-law, Morgan Holder. A funeral Mass will take place at 11 a.m., Friday, September 4 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Amirault’s Hill, Father Albéni d’Entremont and Deacon Bruce Hubbard officiating. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, seating will be limited at the church and social distancing guidelines must be followed. Also, please note that immediate family will be given priority for seating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Holy Family Cemetery Fund. Arrangements have been entrusted to H.M.
