It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sheila. Sheila passed away peacefully at the Dryden regional hospital with family by her side.
Sheila lived in Dryden most of her life, earlier on she did live out west where she worked on the pipeline. She eventually decided to move back home to be with family. Sheila was a member of AA where she made many friends and was very successful, 14 years sober. Sheila loved gardening and feeding her birds. During summer you could always find her out in her garden or suntannig in her back yard. Sheila had a love for animals. She always went out of her way to feed feral cats and catch the ones she could to get fixed. Sheila loved taking trips with her mom out to Dance Land they always had a lot of fun. Sheila made many close friends over the years that were very dear to her heart.
She is survived by her mother Beverley Parsons, sister Wendy Parsons (Rob), nieces Toni Riley and Rachel Brown (Jimmy), great niece Masaya, great nephews James and Bentley and many close friends.
She was predeceased by her father Gary Parsons, uncle Reg Parsons, grandparents Elaine and Erine Parsons, John and Addie Morton, her beloved cat Fuzzy and dog Stryker.
At Sheila’s request no service will be held and cremation has taken place.
Donations may be made to Second Chance Pet Network online or through Stevens Funeral Homes, P.O. Box 412 Dryden, ON P8N 2Z1.
