LEBLANC, Victorine Marie
(October 25, 1938 – August 23, 2020)
The family of Victorine LeBlanc, age 81, of Meteghan River, are saddened to announce the passing of Victorine on Sunday, August 23rd in La Villa Acadienne, Meteghan. Born in Saulnierville Station, she was one of fourteen children of the late Albert and Catherine (Smith) Saulnier.
Victorine excelled in the traditional role of stay-at-home mom enjoying a simple life with her family. Her interests included quilting and knitting. She was a great fan of her afternoon stories (soaps). After the retirement of her husband, Victor, they enjoyed caravanning in a fifth wheel chasing authentic country music, especially bluegrass.
She is survived by daughters, Diane (Scott) LeBlanc, Mississauga; and Janine (John) Sanford, Meteghan River; son, Yvon (Pam), Arcadia; granddaughter, Nicole; great-grandson, Mason; brothers (Saulnier): Désiré, Anselm, Robert, and Delbert.
Victorine was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Victor LeBlanc, in September 2017; brothers, Marcel (infancy), Antoine, Paul, Russell, Normand; and sisters, Evangeline, Lorraine, Cerita and Philomène.
Many thanks to the amazing team at La Villa Acadienne for the care provided to mom over the last five years.
In keeping with Victorine’s wishes, a cremation has taken place under the care of Meteghan Funeral Home. Due to COVID-19 provincial regulations for the pandemic, a private funeral mass will be held at a later date. No flowers or donations by Victorine’s request.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Victorine Marie LeBlanc October 25 1938 August 23 2020..
