Everett passed away peacefully at Providence Manor on Wednesday, January 15th, in his 82nd year.

Lovingly remembered by his two daughters and their families, Suzie and John Wilson and Sylvia and Kevin Blaney. Adored Poppa to Jessica Jardine and Craig Thornton, Johnny Wilson and Amber Bryant-Peller, Sarah and Brandon Seymour, and Jayna Wilson. (As grandchildren, we will always treasure the way you spoiled us, your sense of humour and your larger than life stories). Known as “Old Poppa with 9 ½ fingers” to great grandchildren, Jack and Brierley Thornton and Evie and Piper Seymour.
Predeceased by his parents, Ross and Betty Stevenson and sister Neva Coughler. Brother to Jim Stevenson (Jean) and Bob Stevenson (Jan).
Brother in law to Marilyn Brethour (Norman, deceased), George Brierley (deceased), Elsie Brierley, Sharon Burrell (Orville), Diane Hollywood (Dwight), Joanne Johnston (Dick), Sylvia Henry (Elmer), Bill Brierley (Paul), Debbie Dean (Art).
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and family.
The family would like to thank the staff at Providence Manor (Sydenham 5) and especially Mary Stevenson, Jen and Dr. Porter for their care and compassion that went above and beyond.
In keeping with Dad’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service to follow. His only wish is for his loved ones to raise a glass in celebration of his life!
