It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Edward Stanley French at the age of 80 years, on August 8th, 2020. Edward was born in Moreton’s Harbour, NL. Predeceased by parents Stanley and Frances (Taylor) French; and sisters Elizabeth (Hon. Charles Granger) and Louise (Bud Osmond). Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 56 years Sylvia (Parsons); daughters Annette, Marlene (Franklyn), and Lisa; son Philip (Karen); grandchildren whom he adored Matthew, Stephen, Brandon and Corey; sisters Grace (Senator Derek Lewis – deceased) and Josephine (Hamilton May). Edward’s sisters Elizabeth, Grace and Josephine all equally thought the world of their brother. Also leaving to mourn are lifelong friends Myrna and Baxter Keats, Jack Kearsey and Barry Murphy. Due to COVID-19 the funeral service will be held at a later date.
