Obituary
SHOCKEY, Lillian Alice
After several years, a great lady has joined her beloved husband “Hally” in heaven. Lillian Alice Shockey (nee Miller), born in Elk Point, Alberta, passed on at the age of 89. Lilly as Hally would call his loving soulmate, leaves behind one sister Grace and one brother Larry, her favourite son Jim, two daughters, Geraldine and Barbara, as well as five wonderful grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Thankfully the last few years of struggle are over for our beautiful mother and we know right now she is pinching St. Peter’s cheeks and telling Hally to put his teeth in. Her vegetable garden will be sown and will grow again, this time for eternity. She will be with her mother Alice and father Frank, her brother Gordie, sisters Beatrice, Georgie and Maxie and the “Millers.” They will be telling stories and laughing. Our Mom will be deeply missed by everyone she touched, everyone whose world she brightened with her ever present and genuine smile. At this time no funeral service will be held. Cremation arrangements in care of David Schurr – Mourning Glory Funeral Services (306) 978-5200.
