Bertha Roy
1913-2020
Bertha Roy of Moncton passed away on Friday, August
14, 2020 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Balmoral, NB, she was the
daughter of the late Edward and Regina (Bernard) Savoie. Bertha
dedicated her life to her husband and family.
She will be dearly missed by her loving children, Marcella
Wilson (Eric), M. Carmelle Cochrane (Ken), Marie Reine Caissie
(Louis), Jean Guy Roy (Adelia Veret), NB, Jacques Roy (Joan Kingston),
and Michel Roy of Campbellton; her 8 grandchildren and 12
great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her
husband, Thomas, in 1971, daughter, M. Raymonde, in 2015, as well as
her 3 sisters and 10 brothers. She was the last surviving member of
her immediate
family.
The funeral mass will be celebrated from the Notre Dame De
Neige Catholic Church in Campbellton with the date and time to be
announced. The interment will take place in Balmoral Cemetery,
Balmoral, NB. Donations made to your local church or local food bank
would be greatly appreciated by the family. The local arrangements are
entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330
Whitepine Rd. Riverview (869-2007). Online condolences may be
