Obituary of Lloyd Stamper
Lloyd Joseph Stamper, age 68 from Westville. With heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Lloyd Joseph Stamper on August 8, 2020 at home.
Lloyd was the youngest son of the late Daniel and Nora (Farrell) Stamper. Lloyd worked for 40 years at Michelin Tire Inc. in Granton. His pastimes include spending time at the family cottage in Cape Breton, fishing, and spending time with his dogs.
He always put his family first, he was a loving husband; proud and supportive father to his three children and delighted ‘Grampy’ to his two grandchildren.
Lloyd was predeceased by his loving wife Cassie (Taylor) in 2007. He is survived by sons, Patrick, Jeffrey (Jenny-Lynn), and their children, Eric and Ryan; daughter, Heather (Sheldon). Also survived by brother Alec (Ann); sister Tina Matthews (Bill); and three nieces.
Arrangements are under the care of Eagles Funeral Home, 1611 North Main Street, Westville, where public visitation will be held on Thursday August 13, 2020 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. (Masks are required for both visitation and funeral). Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 14, at 2 pm in Eagles Funeral Home for family. Due to public gathering restrictions, please phone ahead to reserve a seat. (TEL: 902-396-4144) Interment will take place at Lakeside Cemetery, North Sydney.
Dad is reunited with the love of his life, Cassie.
