Obituary for Ian Williams
Ian Jonathan Williams, a member of Walpole Island First Nation, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020 at the age of 45. Ian is the beloved son of Roger & the late Marjorie (Johnson) Williams and grandson of the late Alvena & Willis Johnson and Wallace & Marjorie Williams. Loving father of Macey. Dear brother of Dean, Vanessa and the late Guy. Special friend to Ashley Isaac. He will be missed by his many aunts, uncles and cousins. Ian was a commercial fisherman and professional guide and coached and sponsored youth sports. Ian will rest at the Walpole Island Sports Complex on Sunday for family and Monday for the community. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, visiting will be limited to 50 people indoors at a time. Masks and social distancing are required.
