Obituary for
June Colleen Murphy
Murphy, June:
Passed away on August 4, 2020 at Royal Terrace Long Term Care at the age of 89.
Loving mother of Randy (Marcine) and Terry (Cathy).
Cherished grandma of Bryan, Melyn, Amber, Glenda, Freddie, Natasha, Carmen, Rose, Holly and Brianna.
Great-grandma of Rebecca, Rowan, Autumn, Tia, Morgan, Taylor and Daniel.
Survived by sister, Carol McCormack.
Predeceased by her husband Marsden, son Marsden Jr., Daughter Vivian, granddaughter Donna, sisters Olive Seeley, Jean Hurley, Ruby Rolfe and Marie Downton, and brother Willard Vickery.
June loved to be with family and when she was not sending cards or well wishes, she would be found reading her books. Her love for the outdoors was very apparent as she would spend hours in her swing or patio chair taking in the sunshine. June made new friends everywhere she went and was loved by all. Her love and acceptance will be missed by everyone who knew her.
As per June’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home, Kitchener, Ontario, 519-749-8467.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the First Baptist Church, Waterloo would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
