It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother, at the age of 96 years on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at the Leamington Mennonite Home. Born in Ceprano, Italy on January 1, 1924. Loving wife of the late Pietro (1989). Dear mother of Joe (Linda), Andy (Josephine), Frank (Silvana). Nonna to Lisa (Bernie), Bob (Lisa), Chris, Steve, Danny (Stephanie), Melissa (Walter) and Melinda (Brad). Great Nonna of 13 great grandchildren. Dear sister to the late Theresa, late Nicola, Sossio (Palma), Rosetta (late Mike), late Dominic (Ida), late Pasquale (Ida), late Pietro, late Camillo, late Pietrina. Sister-in-law to the late Francesco (late Marietta), late Dominic (late Iolanda), late Angelo (late Filomenna), late Lucia (late Andriuno), late Rosa (late Ruggero), Josephine (late Tony) and late Marietta and (late Rocco). Maria worked for many years at Omstead Foods. The family would like to thank the Leamington Mennonite Home for all their love and care.
Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street Leamington on Sunday 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 pm. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Michael’s Church, 29 Elliott Street Leamington on Monday August 10, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. Parish Prayers Sunday 4:30 pm. Due to COVID Restrictions, Visitation and Mass are limited to a specific number of visitors at a time. Only those with an appointment will be allowed in. Please book an appointment online at www.reidfuneralhome.ca to secure a designated time to pay your respects. ALL visitors must remain in their cars in our parking lot until their designated time and one of our staff members comes to invite you into our facility. EVERYONE must wear a mask at Visitation and Mass. Memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Leamington Mennonite Home.
