Obituary of Marion Alberta Minns
MINNS, Marion Alberta (nee Parker) passed away at Norview Lodge, Simcoe on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 in her 98th year. August 17, 1922 to August 4, 2020. Predeceased by her husband Thomas (2000). Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of John, Jill and John and Dan, and step-mother of Peter and Michele and Sue and Jean. Cherished grandmother of Charlene, Matthew, Jennifer, Christine, Sheryl, Todd and Melissa, great-grandmother to Jayne, Elizabeth, Jack, Seth and Abbie, great-great-grandmother to Leo and Hazel. Predeceased by her parents Jack and Alberta (Parkie) Parker. Before moving to Norview Lodge, Marion loved to spend time in her garden. She will be lovingly remembered by her large family and all who knew her. The family would like to thank all the staff at Norview Lodge, Willow Walk for the compassionate care given to Marion. In keeping with Marion’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private graveside will be held at a later date. For those wishing, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Simcoe & District Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
