Obituary of Tony Whaley
Whaley, Anthony Russell “Tony” of Aylmer passed away at his residence with his family by his side on Monday, August 3, 2020 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Fran (Hayman) Whaley. Dear father of Darrin Whaley (Denise) and Vicki Whaley-Erskine. Loving grandfather of Devan, Robyn, Anthony and Abigail. Brother of Lon(Ann) of Britt and Doug of St. Thomas. Brother-in-law of Duane Behie (Sandra) of St. Thomas and Marilyn Whaley of Aylmer. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Bill (2003). Born in London on May 17, 1942, son of the late Russell and Freda (Baxter) Whaley. Tony loved hotrods and muscle cars. He was an organizer of the Olde Aylmer Cruisers and was integral in creating the much loved community cruise night in the Talbot Street West parking lot. Tony worked at Ford Motor Company in Talbotville from 1969 until retirement. Cremation has taken place. A private family funeral service will be held. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
