Obituary of Chantel Barber
BARBER, Chantel of Hagersville, formerly of Port Dover, passed away at her home on Friday, July 24, 2020 in her 38th year. Cherished daughter of Suzanne Barber and Howard and Dan and Monica Cole. Dearly loved mother of Baisha and Chase. Loving sister of Jacolbie and Amy, Mackenzie and Katherine, Ashley and Willy, Setera, Odessa and Michael and Hailey. Dear granddaughter of Bill Barber. She will be sadly missed by Chad Broker, her first love and father and step father of Chase and Baisha. Chantel will be fondly remembered by her many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends for her love of music, singing and entertaining. When she arrived anywhere she would always fill the room with her exuberance and bubbly personality. Chantel has left a hole in everyone’s heart that she loved and those that loved her. Predeceased by her grandmothers Lorraine Barber (nee Post), Bernice Cole and great-grandmother Henrietta Barber. Arrangements have been entrusted to THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME, Port Dover 519-583-1530. Due to Covid-19 restrictions a private family visitation will be held. A public Graveside Service will be held with a number restriction. The Reverend Sheena Marini officiating. If you wish to attend the graveside service please call the funeral home and have your name added to the list. When the maximum has been reached no further attendees can be added. Masks are required for the service. For those wishing, donations to Crohn’s and Colitis Canada would be greatly appreciated.
