Terrance J. (Terry) Allaby
1945-2020
Terrance (Terry) Allaby of Moncton passed away on Wednesday,
July 22, 2020 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Saint John he
was the son of the Late John and Muriel (Tays) Allaby.
Terry was a true intellectual and an avid reader.
He enjoyed travelling especially to Europe and spent time biking and
hiking in nature. He was retired from Corrections Canada
following a 34 year career.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Lorna, sister Janette
Allaby, nephews Geoffrey, Peter, Christopher, Brent and Brian their
spouses and children, special friends, the Olkinitskiy’s
and several cousins one of which was Alice Adams with whom
he was extremely close. Besides his parents, he
was predeceased by a sister Elaine Foote.
His family wish to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at
the K E Spencer Memorial Home and the doctors and nursing staff at the
4100 Unit of The Moncton Hospital, in particular Dr.
Theriault.
Due to the Covid 19 restrictions, a private funeral service
will be held from Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center,
330 Whitepine Road (869-2007) on Saturday, July 25, 2020 with Rev. Dr.
Richard Jackson officiating. In lieu of flowers donations
can be made to the Moncton SPCA, First Moncton Baptist Church or a
charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by
