Obituary
The family of Don Charles Comeau, loving husband of Donna Jean (Lizotte) Comeau, sadly announce his passing which occurred on July 19, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, April 18, 1946 he was the son of the late Charles and Margaret (Doucette) Comeau.
Besides his wife he is survived by his daughters: Kim (Jeff) Henderson, Reni (Steven) Kelly, Angela (Troy) Newell, all of Quispamsis, his sister Lynn (Jim) d’Entremont of Rawley, his grandchildren Josh, Jordan, Sydney, Jared, Tyler, Jack and Dakota, and great-grandchild Emry along with several cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his “Coffee Buddy” Art Weddell.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sister Shirley Arseneault.
He was an electrician by trade and had worked with Saint John Ship Building Ltd. for over 25 years. He was a member of IBEW #502. He was an avid Hot Wheels collector and enjoyed his time building birdhouses and dune buggies.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) where following cremation the funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 24, 2020. Staff will be available at the main entrance of the funeral home to assist guests with social distancing measures when they arrive. Please note that physical distancing restrictions will be observed during the gathering. The family would appreciate donations be made to the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit or Extra Mural.
