Obituary of Sammy Hodgin
Percy “Sammy” Herbert Edward Hodgin was born on June 2, 1934 in Bloomfield Ridge, NB. He was the son of the late Herbert and Doris (Mercer) Hodgin.
He will live on in the hearts of his children: Sam Hodgin and his wife Cheryl of Bloomfield, Janet Piercy and her husband Tom of Fredericton, Rosemarie Grubb and her husband Ken of Calgary and Douglas Hodgin of Oromocto; his adopted daughters: Rachel and Janet Crothers; his grandchildren: Tiffany (Scott), Shery-Dawn (Sam), Justin (Cynthia), Travis (Julie) and Aaron (Nikki), Natasha (Lance); his great grandchildren: Cameron, Thomas and Mickayla; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Percy “Sammy” Hodgin of Belleisle Creek passed away at the Sus Health Center on July 18, 2020 at the age of 86.
Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his siblings: Hazel LaFrance, Myrtle Treaso, Beatrice McCarlie, Ernie Hodgin, Charlie Hodgin, Leonard Hodgin and Anne Morrison and by his grandson, Andrew.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus (506-433-1176). Due to COVID-19 the funeral service will be held privately.
