John’s Obituary
Fudge, John Cornelius-73, Shelburne, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Shelburne he was a son of the late John Jacob and Ruth Irene (Williams) Fudge. John was a fisherman all his working life .He loved deer hunting and working on guns. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jane; sons, James ( Tammy); Georgie (Becky); Martin; daughter, Lisa (Kirk); brothers, Gerald (Amy); Charlie; Kenny ( Sherri); Arnold ( Donna); sisters, Ella (Clyde); Annie (David); Hilda; Wendy. Grandchildren, Staci, Megan and Curtis; great-granddaughter, Alayna. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Percy and sister, Rita. Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 23 from 7-9 pm in H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Shelburne where a service will be held on Friday at 2:00pm with Rev. Ed Trevors officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 245-5657 Spring Garden Road, Halifax, N.S B3J 3R4. A reception will be held at the Lions Hall following the service. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, seating will be limited at the funeral home and social distancing guidelines must be followed. Also, please note that immediate family will be given priority for seating.
