Bouctouche, NB – Omer Richard, 85, passed away peacefully at the Manoir St-Jean-Baptiste, Bouctouche, NB, on Saturday, July 18th, 2020.
Born in St-Louis-de-Kent, NB he was the son of the late Albert P. and the late Eva Richard (born Daigle).
Omer will be sadly missed by two sons, Maurice Richard (Linda) of Petawawa, ON, and Réjean Richard of Cocagne; one daughter, Jocelyne Collette (Maurice) of Ste-Marie-de-Kent; one brother, Maxime Richard (Jeannette) of Dieppe; one sister, Aurore Allain (Normand) of Cocagne; five grandchildren, Mathieu, Jérémie, Rémi, Gaétan and Germain; seven great grandchildren, Audrée, Évangéline, Quinn, Eleanor, Abigail, Arielle and Olivier; also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Omer was predeceased by one brother Ovila and one sister Yvette.
In respect of Omer’s wishes, a private Funeral service will be held at a later date for the immediate family.
The family want to thank the staff of the Manoir Saint-Jean-Baptiste for all the good care and support provided to Omer and his family during the hardest moments.
Donation can be made to the Alzheimer Society or to
“les amis du manoir Saint-Jean-Baptiste inc”.
