1937 – 2020
Darleane Wiens, formerly of Midale, Sask. passed away at the St. Joseph’s Hospital Special Care Home, Estevan, Sask. on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at the age of 82 years.
Precious memories of Darleane will be forever cherished by her husband Peter Wiens and their children and grandchildren: daughter Penny (David) Moon of Midale; son Glenn (Robin) Wiens of Midale and their children: Chanse Wiens, Sierra (Jackson) Walliser and Autumn Wiens; daughter Sheila (Kevin) Kobitz of Estevan and their children: Kourtney, Katelyn and Lauren Kobitz. She will also be lovingly remembered by her brother Oliver (Sharon) Pepin of Regina and her sister Delores Honig of Weyburn, as well as her nieces and nephews.
Darleane was predeceased by her parents: Lionel and Emelie Pepin; her son Jason Wiens and her brother Roy Pepin.
The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Midale, with Pastor Cicely McDougall officiating. A time of fellowship and refreshments will be held at the church immediately following the service, after which the interment will take place at the Halbrite Cemetery, Halbrite, Sask.
If friends so desire, donations in Darleane’s memory may be made to the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation (designate to Long Term Care), 1176 Nicholson Road, Estevan, Sask., S4A 0H3 or the Halbrite Cemetery,
Box 70, Halbrite, Sask., S0C 1H0.
