The family of Henny Reintjes are profoundly saddened to announce her death on July 9, 2020.
Henny’s greatest joys in life were her family, flowers, garden, books and more books, and classical music. After overcoming the challenges of World War Two, she immigrated to Canada in 1954. She worked hard to give each of us a strong foundation of education and health, as well as an immense appreciation of music and literature. We are so fortunate to have had this strong, smart, and kind mother.
She is survived by her children, Ingrid (Don) Raypold, Herman, Anne (Bill) Witschen, Mikki, Frances; grandchildren, Nicole, Michael, Spencer, Brian, Stephanie, Kevin, Gary, Jill; great grandchildren, Kyle, Simon, Bodhi; as well as her family in the Netherlands and Frank Reintjes.
Henny is predeceased by her parents; brother, Gerard; and granddaughter, Carolyn.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, only a private family service will be held.
