A. “Margaret”‘s Obituary
LeBLANC, Anne Marguerite “Margaret” – age 94, Lower Wedgeport, Yarmouth Co., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born October 20, 1925 in Wedgeport, she was a daughter of the late Odilon and Clara (LeBlanc) LeBlanc. Margaret worked at the clam factory in Wedgeport. At home, she enjoyed sewing, caring for her flowers and hedges (right up to last summer), reading and keeping up on astronomy. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Blanche Doucet; a brother-in-law, Ernest LeBlanc as well as by her caregiver, Rhoda Jacquard and numerous nieces and nephews. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William “Billy” LeBlanc; a brother, Harold LeBlanc and by sisters, Ethel LeBlanc and Irene Jacquard. A funeral Mass will take place at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 18 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Wedgeport, Father Albéni d’Entremont officiating. The family will receive friends for a half hour prior to the funeral Mass. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, seating may be limited and social distancing guidelines must be followed. Also, please note that immediate family will be given priority for seating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Michael’s Cemetery Fund. Arrangements have been entrusted to H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Yarmouth where you may leave messages of condolence for the family by visiting www.huskilson.net
