Elizabeth Ann Lemmon July 10 2020

Lemmon, Elizabeth Ann – age 74, of Dean, passed away unexpectedly on July 10, 2020 in QEII, VG Site, Halifax. Born in Dean, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Mona (Kindervater) Gammell.
Elizabeth volunteered with the Block Parents program while living in Cole Harbour and after moving back to Dean became a part of the Citizens on Patrol. She was a member of Stewiacke Valley Garden Club for a number of years. At the local exhibitions she enjoyed entering flowers and baked goods at which she took many ribbons. She was instrumental in introducing children to gardening at the Halifax County Exhibition. Elizabeth was a faithful member of Sharon Presbyterian, where she could always be counted on for support.
She is survived by her husband, Alvin; children, Kevin, Tracey, Dwight (Alicia); sisters, Shirley (Bill) Barker, Frances Perrin, Martha Gammell, Wanda Smith; brother, Wayne (Glenda); brother-in-law, Victor MacKinnon; sisters-in-law, Nancy Gammell, Jane Fisher; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Terrence, Calvin and Gordon; sisters, Beverly and Dorothy; brothers-in-law, David Perrin and Kennard Smith.
Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in Dean Cemetery, Calvin Burt, student minister officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to Hematology/Oncology Department, QEII Foundation or Sharon Presbyterian Church, Dean.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
Goodbyes are not forever.
Goodbyes are not the end.
They simply mean I’ll miss you
