My family and I would like to pass along our heartfelt condolences to your family and to Charlie’s friends. He was our next door neighbour and a wonderful one at that. He was the first to welcome us when we moved here and it was always such a comfort knowing he was keeping an eye out for us. He became a dear friend and another grandfather to our son, his “pal” John Owen. We will miss his presence, his visits, seeing him drive by with a friendly wave and a smile, and dropping off little treats as he so often did. He will be missed greatly. It is not the same, looking across the field and knowing he isn’t up there. We were so blessed to have him in our lives and I am so glad we did. Rest easy Charlie. We will always remember you.
