Paul’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Gérard Henley, at the age of 76 years. He passed away at home early July 5th from prostate/bone cancer, with family by his side. We were blessed to witness his courage, his positive attitude and his sense of humour throughout his battle.
Paul will be fondly remembered for his friendliness with everyone he met, his sense of humor and for his loud infectious laugh.
He was pre-deceased by his parents Philippe and Cécile Henley; and, brothers Edmond and Adrien Henley.
Paul is survived by his wife Evelyne; children Gilbert (Suzanne) of Grande Prairie, Brian (Angela) of Girouxville, Joanne Buss (Dave Michalchuk) of Grande Prairie, Darren (Kelsey) of Grande Prairie; 10 grandchildren; sisters Juliette and Irene; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins as well as a community of friends.
Due to restrictions, Mass of Christian Burial will take place, with a limited number of attendees.
Live streaming of Paul’s service will begin at 9:45 a.m. on Friday, July 10, 2020.
Return here soon, for a link to a video tribute, in memory of Paul.
If friends so desire, donations in Paul’s name can be made to Paroisse Notre-Dame de Lourdes Parish (Box 159, Girouxville, T0H 1S0) or online at archgm.ca/how-to-donate/.
