It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Gino on Thursday, July 2, 2020, at 61 years of age. Devoted husband of Anna (nee Iaconelli) for 34 years. Proud father of Ryan and fiancée Stephanie and Christina and Noah. Eldest son of Phyllis and the late Emidio Rosati. Dear brother of George. Much loved son-in-law of Giuliano and Antonia Iaconelli. Adored brother-in-law of Susie Iaconelli and Carmen, Elena and Sean Tennant. Fun loving uncle of Christopher, Anthony, the late Selena, Valentina, Giuliana and Giordana. He will be sadly missed by many cherished family and friends.
Gino worked as a mold maker for over 43 years with his last ten years being at Toolplas. He was a dedicated employee, respected by his employers and colleagues. Gino was a die-hard Boston Bruins fan. What he enjoyed most was being a good host, watching his sports and sitting in the backyard by the pool. But his greatest accomplishment in life were his children. If you so desire, donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
Visitation by scheduled appointment Sunday, July 5, 2020 from 3–5 pm & 7–9 pm at Families First Funeral Home, 585 Sandwich St. South, Amherstburg (519-969-5841). Due to restrictions on public gatherings, a private family Funeral Mass at St. Joseph River Canard Church and interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery will take place.
