Edgar McGraw
1940 ~ 2020
Dieppe, NB – Edgar McGraw, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University
Hospital Centre on Sunday, June 28th, 2020, at the age of 79.
Born in Grande-Anse, NB, he was the son of the late Richard and the late Madelaine McGraw.
Edgar was 3rd and 4th degree Knights of Columbus Council 6796 and was Grand Knight in
Grande-Anse, NB for six years. He had done a lot of trades; Teacher, Firefighter, Insurance
Salesman. He was president of the Golden Age Club and Mayor of Eel River Crossing and St-
Léolin, NB. He coached hockey and baseball, he loved music, wood working and liked to help
everybody he loved.
Edgar will be missed dearly by his loving wife, Regina LeGresley of Dieppe; his son, Roger
McGraw (Tammy) of Moncton, NB; his daughter, Carol Green (Ralph) of Grand-Barachois, NB;
one brother, Jean-Paul McGraw (Mayble) of St- Léolin, NB; four grandchildren who were his
treasures; Cameron, Madelaine, Isabelle and Julie; also by several cousins, nieces, nephews and
dear friends.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Albert and Laurier; and by three sisters,
Délia, Délima and Bertha.
Due to the current Covid-19 situation, 50 peoples will be able to attend the ceremony.
Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel in Moncton (625, Mountain rd) on
Monday, July 6th, 2020, from noon until the Celebration of his life at 2pm.
Donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, IWK Health Center, Dreams take flight
(Canada) or to a charity of your choice.
