Eleanor’s Obituary
Passed away on June 24, 2020. Predeceased by her loving partner Charles Troiani. Loving mother to Grover Braund Jr., Natalie Reinelt (Tom) and stepson Eric Troiani (Leslie). Loving grandmother to James Reinelt (Abigail), Matthew (Nicole), Christopher, Rachel, Lubellia, Marie-Soleil and Kayla. Eleanor was born on April 23, 1944 at the Hamilton General Hospital, lived in Copetown until her family moved to Brantford. Eleanor was employed by the Henderson General Hospital from 1974 to 1980 where she worked as an O.R. Clerk. A family transfer led to a position at the Brantford General Hospital as an O.R. Booking Clerk and a position in the Admitting Department. In 1988 Eleanor secured her real estate licence and worked at Re/MAX from the fall of 1988 until December of 2014 when she retired to care for Charles. In 1995 Eleanor became an active member at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Brantford where she served as Warden, a Board Member and visited shut-ins. Eleanor also served as a Board Member at the Children’s Aid Society of Brant. A very special thank you to the Ven. Dr. Timothy Dobbin, St. Mark’s and family doctor, Dr. Raza Khan for their continued support during Eleanor’s illness.
Arrangements entrusted to the DWAYNE D. BUDGELL Funeral Home. In accordance with Eleanor’s wishes, cremation has already taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations made to St. Mark’s Anglican Church (stmarks.on.ca/support-us/) or Stedman Community Hospice (www.sjlc.ca/stedman-community-hospice-1) in Eleanor’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
