Obituary of John Peter Lamothe
Sadly, the family of Jack announces his passing at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Friday, June 26th, 2020. John Peter “Jack” Lamothe, was the beloved husband of Colleen Burton. He was 73 years old. Loving father of Cathy (Yvon), Darin (Cathy), Trevor (Tracy), Marc (Cindy) and Lianne (Vince). He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Megan, Jesse, Zachary, Jay and Leah and by his great grandchildren Chloe, Rylee, Greyson, Maya and Peyton. Dearly loved brother of Patsy Backer (Bill Bethell). Predeceased by his parents George “Puddy” & Geraldine Lamothe. Jack continued to operate the family business Vet’s Taxi. He was well loved by all his customers and well known in the Town. One of his greatest pleasures in life was always the multitude of people he came to know and love, both at home in Mattawa and at his second home in Florida. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church on Thursday July 2nd at 11:00 am. If desired, donations to the Mattawa Hospital would be appreciated by his family.
