Dominador Tres Solidum III Sunday June 21st 2020

Dominador (Tres) Solidum III left us during his sleep to be with our Lord on June 21, 2020.
The first of five siblings, born November 25, 1966 in Vietnam, he immigrated to Canada with his parents (Dominador Royal Solidum Jr. and Angeles Cruz Macaranas) and 2 sisters (Maria and Anna). Growing up in the Greater Vancouver Area, he became a father-like figure to his two younger brothers (Mikhail Shaun and Joshua Ceferino) who were born in the mid-80’s. He married his first and only girlfriend, Melinda, in the Philippines. Soon after Melinda’s arrival in Canada, they were blessed with three sons: Justin Elgin in 2000, Daryl Henrik in 2002, and Lawrence Dominic in 2007.
Although he was a quiet and bashful person in public, he was proud to show that he loved his entire family. He worked hard for the reward in seeing that his family was happy, especially his children who clearly filled his heart with love and pride.
Funeral services will observe social distancing. Christian mass will be at Our Lady of Fatima in Coquitlam on Tuesday, June 30th 2020 at 10:30 AM followed by internment at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in New Westminster. The Solidum family requests that in lieu of attendance, please leave your condolences and Prayers for the repose of the soul of Dominador III.

  1. The Brien family of Ontario are deeply saddened by the loss of Tres. He was a kind, supportive man and will be greatly missed. We are still honoured and touched that Tres gave Justin our Grandfather’s middle name to him as his middle name. We are honoured to have known him.
