Obituary
George Mansfield Procknow, late of Weyburn, SK passed away June 20, 2020 at the age of 82 years.
He was predeceased by his parents Eric and Annie Procknow; brothers: Ralph Procknow, Grant Procknow, and Gary Procknow.
George is lovingly remembered by his wife, Regina “Jean;” his children: Lynette Caron (Marc Chartier), Greg Procknow, Janice Senger (Ray), Dave Vertefeuille (Colleen Quinlan),Denise Black (Keith), Shelly Gorski (Don), Gary Vertefeuille (Karen Charles); 19 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; his sisters: Shirley Carlberg (Regina, SK),Bev Kindrat (Stoughton, SK) Mavis (Ed) Kainz (Regina, SK); along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Prayers for George will be held Friday, June 26, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, SK with Fr. Francis Plaparampil celebrant. Pallbearers are: Marc Chartier, Dave Vertefeuille, Brendon Vertefeuille, Keith Black, Don Gorski and Gary Vertefeuille. Interment will be held at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Weyburn, SK.
In lieu of flowers, for family and friends so wishing, charitable donations in memory of George may be made to a charity of your choice.
