Died in his beloved home of 64 years on Saturday, June 20, 2020 just two days after celebrating his 95th birthday. Devoted husband of the late Kathleen Armour (1999). Proud father of Janice Squirrell (Bill), Martin Hunt and Lloyd Hunt. Grandfather of Laura Goode (Chris) and Colin Squirrell (Jen) and great-grandfather of Ben, Cate and Winter-Lee. He will be remembered as a master builder of buildings and apple pies.
If desired, donations to Headwaters Health Care Centre or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. At George’s request there will be no service. Cremation has occurred and a private burial will take place at Honeywood Cemetery.
