Simone Morin
Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Simone Morin à l’âge de 88 ans, le jeudi 18 juin 2020, à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner. Comme passe-temps, elle aimait lire, et faire du bricolage : surtout tisser, la courtepointe, et tricoter. Elle adorait chanter et était membre de la chorale à l’Église Immaculée-Conception pendant plusieurs années.
Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : Jean-Paul “Buff” Duclos (Sharon) de Gatineau, Marguerite Levesque (Jean-Louis) de Kapuskasing, Roland Duclos de Manitouwadge, Denise Guillemette (Jean-Guy) de Gatineau, Jacqueline Duclos (Gaston Joly) de Gatineau, Robert Duclos (Charlotte Greenwood) de Fauquier, Diane Routhier (Albert) de Kapuskasing, et Jean-Marc Duclos de Kapuskasing; ainsi que19 petits-enfants, 30 arrière-petits-enfants et 5 arrière-arrière-petits-enfants. Elle fut prédécédée par ses époux : Jean Duclos et Henri-Paul Morin; ses parents, Clément et Philomène Mallais; et sept frères et sœurs.
La Célébration Eucharistique aura lieu le jeudi 25 juin à 11h00 en l’église Immaculée-Conception avec Père Sébastien Groleau comme célébrant. L’inhumation des cendres suivra au Cimetière de Kapuskasing. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Fondation des maladies du cœur. ©
We regret to announce the death of Simone Morin, at the age of 88 years, on June 18, 2020 at Sensenbrenner Hospital. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and crafting, especially weaving, needlepoint and knitting. She also loved to sing and was a member of the Immaculée-Conception choir.
She will be greatly missed by her children: Jean-Paul “Buff” Duclos (Sharon) of Gatineau, Marguerite Levesque (Jean-Louis) of Kapuskasing, Roland Duclos of Manitouwadge, Denise Guillemette (Jean-Guy) of Gatineau, Jacqueline Duclos (Gaston Joly) of Gatineau, Robert Duclos (Charlotte Greenwood) of Fauquier, Diane Routhier (Albert) of Kapuskasing, and Jean-Marc Duclos of Kapuskasing; as well as 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husbands: Jean Duclos and Henri-Paul Morin; her parents, Clément and Philomène Mallais; and seven brothers and sisters.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 25th at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculée-Conception Church with Father Sébastien Groleau officiating. Interment of ashes will follow at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. ©
