1952-2020
Following a lengthy illness, Rita Diana Doucette of Plaster Rock, NB,
passed away peacefully at the Tobique Valley Manor on June 15,
2020,
Rita was born in Plaster Rock, NB, on October 5, 1952. She was the
daughter of the late Wilmot and Jane (Sawyer) Madore. Rita leaves
behind her loving husband, Leo Doucette; her daughter, Kimberly
Tompkins of Moncton, NB; her grandchildren, Tyler Tompkins, Taylor
Tompkins, and Tanner Tompkins; her great granddaughter, Nova; her
sister, Audrey Rossignol of Anderson Road, NB; her brother, fred
Madore (Micheline LaFrance) of Grand Falls, NB; her stepchildren,
Donna McIntyre of Baie Sainte-Anne, NB, Terry Doucette of Baie
Sainte-Anne, NB, Tanya Vautour (Raymond) of Bouctouche, NB; her
step-grandchildren, Jeremy, Josée, and Jessica Allain.
Rita was predeceased by her parents and her infant brother, Anthony
Madore.
Due to the restrictions associated with the Covid-19 pandemic, a
private funeral service will be held at St. Theresa Catholic Church,
Anderson Road, NB. Father Curtis Sappier officiating. Interment will
follow in the parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the NB Alzheimer Society
would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock, NB.
