Peacefully, after a month of illness, at Brantford General Hospital, on Thursday, January 9, 2020 Susanna Ti-Wan Tien passed away in her 74th year. Dear mother of Jean and her husband Michael of Brantford. Wai-Po to James, David and soon to be born Baby Chow. Beloved sister of younger brother Ti-Yung Liu and older siblings Theresa Chen and Ti-Hung Liu. Also survived by nephews Thomas and Eric Chen, Liu Cho Han and Liu Cho Wen, nieces Mimi and Mao-Mi Liu. As well as many friends from St. Pius X Church and around Brantford. Susanna was born in Yanshi City, Henan Province, China in 1945. She studied in Taiwan, after graduation from University, went to the US in 1974 where she met her late husband, Yu-Sheng Tien. They went to Canada together where they settled down to have a family. Family and friends will be received at the Toll Funeral Home, 55 Charing Cross St., Brantford on Monday, January 13, 2020 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 11am at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the BGH or St. Pius X Catholic Church. Messages of condolence may be left at www.tollfh.ca
