Elizabeth Auntie Tel Keggans 19232020

Elizabeth (Auntie Tel) Keggans
1923-2020
KEGGANS,
Elizabeth
Passed away suddenly at the Elliott Community on Tuesday,
June 9, 2020 at the age of 96 years. Born in Sanquhar,
Scotland, Ella emigrated to Canada in 1960 to join her sister Mary and
family. Her loving soul and her generous, kind-hearted ways, soon made
her many lasting friends in her adopted country. Affectionately known
as Tel; she was the loving aunt of Diane (Stewart) and Spence Masson
of Guelph, and their family Katrina, Tanya (Carlos) and Ryan. Ella had
no children of her own, but Diane always considered her to be her
second mom. Ella will be fondly remembered by family and friends in
both the UK and Canada. Predeceased by her parents Henry and
Mary (Copeland) Keggans and by her siblings, Meg Little, Harry, Hugh,
John, Mary Stewart and Maxwell.
We wish to thank the staff and professionals at The Elliott
Community for the kind and loving care given to Ella over the last two
years.
Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial
contributions to The Guelph Humane Society (500 Wellington St. W.
Guelph, ON N1H 6L3 phone: 519-824-3091) would be
appreciated.
We love you and will miss you dearly, Auntie
Tel.
