March 29, 1935 – June 3, 2020
At the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital on Wednesday June 3, 2020 Doreen “Margaret” Simpson (nee Kurmey) passed away at the age of 85.
Predeceased by her husband Jack S. Simpson, her parents John and Nellie Kurmey of Summerland, BC, her brothers Steve and Bill Kurmey of Edmonton, AB and sister Irene Kurmey of Wiarton, ON.
“Marg” was well known for her decorative Duck & Bird carvings as well as her musical abilities in playing the organ, piano, accordion and xylophone.
A family graveside service will take place at Glenwood Cemetery followed by interment.
Arrangements entrusted to the Whattam Funeral Home, 33 Main St., Picton, ON.
