Born: Ebbsfleet, Prince Edward Island
After a courageous three-year battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), our beautiful Rosalie succumbed to her illness in her home in Cardinal on Sunday, June 7, 2020, age 78. Surrounded by family and loved ones in her last moments, Rosalie was loved and adored beyond what words can write. Loving wife of Barry Wiseman. Cherished sister of Alfred Allen and Edward Allen (Jeannie). Loving mother of Mike Wiseman (Cathy) and Melonie Willis (Jason). Rose will be fondly remembered by her three grandchildren, Isabelle, Barry and Gabryelle, and her great-granddaughter, Rosabelle. Predeceased by her brother, Gerard Allen, her sister, Lucy Stright (nee Allen), her mother, Melvina Allen (nee Perry), and her father, Arthur Allen. Our hearts are forever broken but know she is finally at peace.
A special thank you goes out to Bayshore Nursing Staff (Palliative), for taking such great care of Rosalie during these last few months as well as her family doctor, Dr. Halili, and Dr. Aaron (Respirologist), Ottawa General Hospital.) We would also like to give a heartfelt thanks to Father Brent Brennan for the care and kindness he has shown to our beloved Rosalie during her illness.
Funeral Arrangements
Due to Covid restrictions, there will be a private funeral mass, attended by family only at Sacred Heart Parish in Cardinal on Thursday June 11th. In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. Please help us find a cure. Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com
