Obituary of Margaret Ellen Quinn
QUINN, Margaret of Port Dover passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by the love of her family on June 5, 2020 in her 77th year. Beloved wife of Neale. Cherished,loving mother of Joel Quinn, and Alisha and her love TJ of Brighton Ont. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Lynda and Ted Kuproski. Loving grandmother of Patrick and Michelle, Katie, Keely, and David. Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Eleanor Todd, her daughter Marne Benner and sister, Kathy Stempski. Margaret will be missed by her cousins,nieces and nephews. One of her passions was horses and animals, and she spent her life farming on several different farms,which always included horses and dogs. Margaret’s other passion was helping children. She found much joy as a secretary at several public schools during her career with the Grand Erie District School Board.She was also a proud foster parent for many years. The family would like to thank from the bottom of our hearts,CBI Home Health Nursing and the wonderful nurses and PSW staff that helped care for mom at home. Also to R.N. Elana Lloyd for your incredible support,care,, advice, mentoring and calm compassion for your patients and their families.
Margaret will be fondly remembered by her family and friends. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions all services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME, Port Dover (519) 583-1530. In lieu of flowers a donation to Whispering Hearts Horse Rescue, 1652 Concession 10 Walpole, Hagersville, ON N0A 1H0 , or a humane society chapter of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
