Obituary of William Charles Morrison
On April 27th, after battling some heavy health challenges, Bill passed on to his next adventure.
Bill was born on the Sunshine Coast in the old hospital in Garden Bay and attended Elphinstone high school in Gibsons. He left high school to work in logging camps all over the BC coast and stayed with that line of work for many years. In 1998 he settled in Quesnel with Cynthia, the love of his life, where he ended up driving truck for Arrow Transport for 11 years until he retired this past January.
Bill was a character. Known for his quick wit (not always appreciated), love of classic cars, George Jones, Rye & Ginger,
2 am phone calls, regaling family and friends with stories of his youth and working in logging camps. He had a heart of gold. He loved his kids and “his Violet” fiercely.
Bill was predeceased by his Mother Edna, Brothers Joe, Mike and Terry, and his Wife, Cynthia. He is survived and greatly missed by Brothers Dan, Dave, Rob, Thom, Sister Sheila, a slew of nieces and nephews, his kids Andrew, Karmyn, Roxxane and granddaughter Violet.
Spreading of his ashes and a gathering will be held at a later date please contact Karmyn Morrison
for details (250)-925-0108.
