Obituary of Doris Charamis
It is with great sadness the family of Doris Agnes (Church) Charamis announces her passing which occurred on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at Riverdale Manor Senior Home, Hampton, NB, following a brief illness. She was born in Sus, NB on July 6, 1949 a daughter of the late William and Myrtle Church (Branscombe) Church.
Doris graduated from Sus High School in 1967. She spent several years in Greece with her son and his family and lived many years in Grimsby ON, making many friends while there. Her recent retirement years were spent in Sus and most recently resided at Riverdale Manor for a short time.
Thank you, Krissy and staff, for your expert care and kindness. She loved the Lord and her church family, Calvary Pentecostal Church. Her family and friends were important to her and she loved visiting them. Doris had a great affection for animals, especially dogs.
Doris is survived by her son Peter Charamis and his wife Rea and granddaughter Dena all of Greece; sister Julia (Ronald) Stackhouse of Hampton; nephew James (Jill) Stackhouse of Saint John; niece
Jennifer (Jamie) Vienneau of Saint John and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Besides her parents, Doris was also predeceased by her sister Shirley.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus, (506-433-1176) and due to COVID-19 will be held privately.
