It is with great sadness that the family of Rose-Marie
“Anita” Miller, age 77, of
Clifton Royal, NB, announces
her death which occurred
on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at the Saint
John Regional Hospital. Born in Shediac, NB, on
May 19, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Bertha (Gallant)
LeBlanc.
Anita was a homemaker and great cook who loved to host parties for
family and friends alike. She volunteered for many
years as the librarian at MacDonald Consolidated
School. Besides her family she had a passion for
playing cards and taught all her grandsons to play at an early
age.
Anita is survived by
her loving husband of
57 years, Ken Miller;
children: Donna Finlay (Greg) of Erbs Cove, NB, and Norman Miller
(Joan) of Clifton Royal, NB; sister
Jackie Wiese (Manfred) of
Berlin, Germany; her six
grandsons: Jacob Miller (Lauren),
Mackenzie Miller (Kiersten),
Riley Miller, Joshua Finlay,
Luke Finlay and Braeden Finlay; sister-in-laws: Fran Gamble and Betty
Donovan (Doug) as well as several nieces, nephews and a very special
little girl, Kiera. In addition to her parents, Anita was predeceased
by her brothers: Joseph and Robert LeBlanc; and her sister: Diane
LeBlanc.
Arrangements have been entrusted
to Reid’s Funeral
Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main
Street, Hampton, NB, and
due to COVID-19 restrictions,
and Anita’s wishes, private services will be held. Donations
in memory of Anita may be made to the
Canadian Cancer Society (NB)
or to the memorial
of the donor’s choice. Personal
condolences to the family and donations may be made through
