BAIDEN, William Henry “Bill”
Graduate of Kingston Collegiate Vocational Institute
Owner of the former Baiden Hardware in Portsmouth Village
Peacefully at Providence Manor, Bill passed away with his daughter by his side, on Monday May 18th, 2020, in his 89th year. Dearly loved husband of 47 years, to the late Joan (Burnett) Baiden. Ever cherished father of Susan MacNeil (her husband Paul) of Kingston. Devoted grandfather to Alison and Sarah. Beloved brother of Barbara Baiden (Ottawa, Ontario). The family extends their sincere gratitude to all of Bill’s caregivers, especially Rosie and Tami and the staff of Montreal 3, Dr. Morrow and Dr. Simpson for their tender and compassionate care. In keeping with Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place this week. A gathering and Celebration of his wonderful life will be held in the future for friends and family. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the University Hospital Foundation for Providence Manor in Bill’s memory.
