Margaret “Peg” Walkom, 90, of Mitchell passed away at Hillside Manor on Saturday, May 16, 2020.
Beloved wife of the late Everett “Eb” Walkom (2006). Dear mother of Linda Lebreux, Bill Walkom (June), Carol Theriault (Gaston), Lawrence Walkom (Marilyn), Bob Walkom (Barb) and Steve Walkom (Terry). Loving grandmother of nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Vanda O’Donnell and Pauline and Roger Lingier. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Martin and Christian O’Donnell, son-in-law Mike Lebreux, grandson Christopher Lebreux, brothers Lewis O’Donnell (Verna), Bruce “Tubby” O’Donnell and Norman “Sue” O’Donnell (Ruth), sisters Kay Norman (Cliff), Sheila Dewing (Bob), Carol Walkom (Jim) and sister-in-law Shirley Anderson (Ken).
A private family service will be held. Memorial donations to the Cancer Society or Diabetes Association would be appreciated and may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com.
