Arthur John Reynolds
May 8, 1930 – January 6, 2020
Arthur John Reynolds, “Art” (Retired GM Employee) passed away peacefully on January 6, 2020 at Chartwell Harwood in Ajax in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Shirley (Pingle) for over 69 years. Loving brother to Ruth, Jeanne and Fae. Amazing father to Debbie, Steve (Nancy), Tracy (Neil Hopgood) and Jane (Michael Waddell). Art’s heart was also full of love for his 7 grandchildren (Nicole, Amanda, Lisa, Emma, Christopher, Connor & Tristin) as well as his 6 great grandchildren (Clara, Quinn, Theo, Elsa, Arnie & Annie).
Art was passionate about his family. He also loved many sports, but especially soccer, which he played and then enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play. Art was also musically inclined and would entertain us many times on the guitar as well as the piano. Art was a man of few words and a gentle soul loved by everyone who knew him. He will be missed.
As per Art’s wishes cremation has taken place and a family service will be held at a later date in Hampton.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Ontario Parkinson Society or a charity of your choice.
