Obituary of James Patrick MacDonald
Halifax. It is with saddened and broken hearts that we announce the passing of James MacDonald “Jimmy”, our precious Dad, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law and father-in-law on May 8, 2020 in the Halifax Infirmary QEII. Dad was born September 30, 1931, to the late Mary Cowie.
Dad worked many years for the City Field and then went on to pursue a career with Canada Post for 32 years, from where he retired. Dad was a loving husband to his wife, Rowena (Greenwood), and they were married for almost 65 years.
