Obituary
Perry Burton, 57, of Smithers BC, passed away on December 31, 2019.
Perry was born in Springdale, Newfoundland and lived there until his late teens when he moved to BC. He was married to Kim on July 21, 1995 in Fort Nelson, BC. They were married for 24 years. Perry worked for West Fraser for the past 20 years.
Fishing was one of Perry’s favorite hobbies, he also thoroughly enjoyed teaching all his young nieces and nephews how to fish. He always bought everyone in the family their fishing rods. Perry was always busying himself with renovation projects, tinkering in his work shed, or entertaining the family pets. It was his second nature to always be there to lend a helping hand to his family, friends and neighbors.
Perry is survived by his wife Kim, son Joey, daughter Jennifer, brother Randy, sisters Brenda, Marjorie, and Alisa.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 11th at 2:00 pm in the RA Schrader Funeral Home Chapel.
Flowers are gratefully declined, we kindly request donations be made to the go fund me ‘Burton Family Support Fund’ to support the family in losing a person who was a huge part of their lives, and in losing their home to a fire.
