It is with tremendous sadness that we acknowledge the peaceful passing of Pille Leonfellner on May 6, 2020 In Squamish, BC.
She is pre-deceased by her mother (vAlvi), father (Jaan), brother (Runnar) Konze and her beloved husband Alois (2015).
Pille was very proud of her Estonian heritage. Born in Talin March 17, 1937. She left Estonia in 1944 and spent time in Augsburg Germany before coming through the port of Halifax, Canada in 1949.
She came to join her brother who was living in Timmons Ontario. Pille married her husband, Alois, in Toronto, they moved from Elliot lake to Labrador city and then to Belledune and finally settled in Bathurst NB.
She had a tremendous zest for life enjoying golf, bridge and travel. She owned an H&R Block franchise for 37 years.
She will be sorely missed by her children and their partners (Suzanne and Bruce); (Perry and Bonnie); ( Nina and Simon) and step-daughter Renate Steger.
She also leaves behind four grandchildren who were the light of her life; Celina and Fiona Abba and Alexandra and Heath Tappin.
The family wants to thank all the physicians, nurses and lab staff l for the excellent care provided over the years. Also a big thanks to her loyal friends and family who provided support and laughs over many years.
