Obituary for Mary-Ellen Hickey (ne: Donaldson)
Mary-Ellen Hickey (nee: Donaldson) went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 30th, 2020 at the age of 95 years. She will be sadly missed by family and friends.
Mary-Ellen (affectionately known as Helen) was preceded by her beloved husband Wilbur (1995), her parents Thomas & Elizabeth, and her sisters Sophie & Dorothy.
Was a wonderful mother to her children Billy (wife Debbie), and Linda. She was a loving grandmother/great-grandmother to 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, and a loving aunt to her nephews.
On keeping with Mary-Ellen’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral. A private burial service will be held at a later date.
If desired, donations can be made to either the “Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada” or “Alzheimer Society of Canada”.
