It is with a heavy heart that the family of Geraldine Maud Field (Courtis) announce that she passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 4th with her loving daughter Ruth by her side.
Born April 22nd, 1930, Gerry is a graduate from the Ontario School of Pharmacy at the University of Toronto and along with the love of her life, Rev. Paul B. Field, she traveled throughout Canada to his different United Church charges which included stops at Central United Church in Weston, Grace United Church in Tavistock as well as Chatham and Ingersol. Geraldine loved spending time at the cottage on Balsam Lake and spending the winters in Fort Meyers Florida.
Geraldine will be greatly missed by her 4 children Ruth (Terry) Long, Anne Louise Field, Peter (Tami) Field , and Catherine Field, as well as her four grandchildren, Ryan (Angela) Long , Aaron (Krystle) Long, Meaghan Long (Chris) Bucci and Grace Field. Gerry also relished the time she got to spend with her 6 great-grandchildren, Quinn, Piper, Beckett, Cohen, Elliot and Norah.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Central United Church in Weston. Family and friends are invited to gather from 1pm until time of service at 2pm.
